Does the alarm system offer a rapid response in the event the alarm system needs service? If so what guarantee is provided?

Does the alarm system provider offer the option to install an emergency button for place or time in which a telephone call may not be possible? If so what is the cost, and how reliable is the emergency button? For instance could the battery go dead, or is it wired to the home?

Does the alarm system rely on electric, and would it work if the electric were to go off?

Does the monitoring service dispatch police immediately, or do they have a procedure in place to first contact you to determine if valid? If no answer, how long will it take for a police officer to be dispatched?
